Loving Rough Luxe

On a recent project I had the challenge of bringing together luxury finishes with rustic touches – complete with cow hide and antlers! A tricky proposition, but during my research I delved into the style known as Rough Luxe.

The Rough Luxe design aesthetic celebrates imperfection – think shabby chic but with quality, used materials. It is quite a masculine look, as you’ll see from the images below, but works well for those craving an authentic interior with quality materials and finishes. But a word of warning, Rough Luxe – although somewhat whimsical and a little worn around the edges – doesn’t come cheap!
